Not everything I share, write, or do is related to Heather Killebrew. In fact, most of it isn’t because I don’t remember her at all. This is due to a stroke I experienced, known as perseveration, where I involuntarily repeat topics, behaviors, or feelings. I never wanted a stroke, and I still wouldn’t want one. I also don’t want to keep discussing this issue, especially since I don’t recall the person involved. From what I’ve read and what my kids and family have mentioned, it’s actually beneficial for me that I don’t remember her. Today, I’m not feeling my best, but I remain optimistic about my recovery and improvement each day. It will be a gradual process, taking small steps forward, but I am confident that I am moving in the right direction and making progress.
